At Mallia Group Ltd, trading as Mallia Home Centre Outlet Store, we are committed to providing quality products and services. Our return policy complies with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986, as required under New Zealand law.
When Returns Are Accepted
We will accept returns in the following circumstances:
- Faulty or Defective Products: If the product you receive is faulty, defective, or does not meet the guarantees outlined in the CGA, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund.
- Not as Described: If the product does not match the description or specifications provided at the time of purchase, we will provide a remedy as required by law.
- Damaged in Transit: If your product arrives damaged, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.
Exclusions
The following items are sold on an "as-is" basis and are excluded from returns, except where required by law:
- Products sold as factory seconds.
- Products sold as damaged or ex-display.
Please note that these exclusions apply only to defects or conditions that were clearly disclosed at the time of purchase. If the product has a fault that was not disclosed, you may still be entitled to a remedy under the CGA.
When Returns Are Not Accepted
We do not accept returns for:
- Change of mind or if you decide the product is no longer needed.
- Products that have been misused, damaged after delivery, or not cared for according to the instructions provided.
How to Request a Return
If you believe your purchase qualifies for a return under the conditions above, please contact us at info@malliagroup.co.nz within a reasonable timeframe (time being of the essence). You may be required to provide proof of purchase and evidence of the issue (e.g., photos of the defect).
